I have a fan of Al Stewart for years. I really love the way this c/d changes and morphs his old tunes that I knew and loved into something even better. Tunes that don't need the glitz and pop production. The scaled down version is lovely and refreshing.

I am 55 and a HUGE Al Stewart fan (check my other reviews). This CD is unbelievable. Seriously. The tracks may not be Al's best known but they are exceptional songs. The guitar work is beyond anything that I have heard on any live album. I cannot imagine sitting in on a session with anybody to be more awe-inspiring (and I was on a board at Volunteer Jam II). The song selection makes me think that Al chose what should be there himself. Dave is incredible. They're interaction is paersonable and friendly. I feel like they are in my living room enjoying themselves. Truly a great album!
