Kenny Lattimore and Chante Moore are one of the most well loved and well known married musical couples in the industry. Their 2003 album What Lovers Do was a huge success. They have followed up that release with a brand new double disc. Uncovered/Covered isn't your average dual CD release. The double album is sure to have something for everyone.

Disc 1, titled Uncovered feaures 13 R&B songs, most performed by both Kenny and Chante. The first single from Uncovered is the Brian Michael Cox produced joint "Figure It Out." The up-tempo song is about the need for "me" time that married couples face. Other gems on the Uncovered disc include a remake of the Sade classic "No Ordinary Love," and the song "I Got You Babe," which isn't a remake of the Sonny and Cher classic. The Uncovered disc not only includes duets from Chante and Kenny, it also includes solo cuts from both artists.

Disc 2 is titled Covered. This disc includes 11 gospel inspired songs. The first single from this disc is the highly praised single "Make Me Like The Moon. The Covered disc includes writing and production by Fred Hammond and was recorded in Dallas, Texas for the most part.

Uncovered/Covered is the perfect CD for the holiday season. It's easy listening and it's a really enjoyable CD. You couldn't really ask for more from these artists. They put a lot of effort into this CD.

I am a fan of both artists and this is better than their last effort! Disc 1, LTD's Love Ballad and Sade's No Ordinary Love are done nicely....Figured it Out, Just A Dream (sing Chante!), maybe a couple others. Thank God for Disc 2 which brings it all home. Make's me wonder was it supposed to be a separate project produced by Fred Hammond? Songs-Rejoice, Make Me Like the Moon (love that!), Your Name, I Give You my Praise, I Do Love You, Mine all Mine and Never Alone makes it all worth buying! Their love for eachother comes through the music and lyrics.....i hope it gets good, worthwhile airplay!

Ok, if this cd only had 12 versions of "Make me like the Moon' it would be 5 stars! I can not get pass this song, what great lyrics! Chante sounds great, even the music is tight. Kenny sounds good on the song too. (I am not a big fan of his) On the Covered CD (Gospel) the songs are so Great! I only listen to a few songs on uncovered and they appear to be ok. Make me like the moon, only reflecting you! I am so proud of them!

I believe this is the first time, that An R&B couple does a full Urban Cd and a Full Gospel Cd! This is my first time hearing about them this year. I love every song from the "Figure It Out" "No Ordinary Love" are my fav on the Urban Side and on the Gospel side my favs are "No Limit" "ReJoice"

EveryONE should pick up this CD, totally Awesome (Chante's Voice is so soothing) She sort of sounds like Mariah Carey one of the songs)

Go out & By, You Wont' Be Disappointed, well some of you may be.

This CD is what I call a well-thought out project. From the title and their personal breakdown of Covered and Uncovered. They are such a God-fearing couple and this CD I just love. For some, there is a taboo of doing "secular" music and doing gospel. However, I do not think that the two are or have to be mutually exclusive and this CD shows how they incorporated that. I love "Make Me Like the Moon". I like how they are making music as a couple. Beautiful music from a beautiful couple.

First I think Chante Moore deserves more exposure than she receives. She is a true SINGER. Kenny's voice is smooth and sultry. These two are a perfect blend. The CD is great! I like the balance of smooth R&B and inspiration. It is fullfilling to see a couple expressing their joy for the Lord in song. I recommend this CD!

Covered/Uncovered are both simply amazing--from the very current, very hip, soulful groove, "Figure It Out" to the wonderfully mastered gospel ballad, "Make Me Like The Moon," this sophomore collaboration delivers a myriad of brilliant pieces that will enhance any music lover's collection. The pure honesty expressed in "Every Time You Go" and "Here On Earth" are pure gems. The melodic voices of both Kenny Latimore and Chante Moore beautifully amplify their messages of marital union and the power of praising the Lord. This compilation of songs proves that the couple is not only compatible spiritually but musically as well. This project is pure magic. I am looking forward to hearing the dynamic and gifted pair "cover" even more ground in the future.

There is a real beauty to Chante Moore's voice. I always thought her albums were underrated. But i have to say, this able doesnt connect, to me. I enjoyed the last duet album, and still play it, but this time, not so much. I love that Chante and Kenny are on a journey and hope perhaps Chante and I will meet up again.

I sorely miss the voices of these two artist. Especially Chante Moore. Her voice is a pure instrument and she as well as Kenny are so underrated anymore in this hip hop era. But I've been waiting for this cd since last year and wondered what happened, and finally I came across it on Amazon. THanks Amazon for rotating it on the featured items.

On to the music. I really like this one alot more than the first. I think you can really tell how their voices compliment each other on this set than the first time around. Especially on Beautiful Distraction. Chante gives a stunning performace on Just a Dream, and Kenny stays true to form on Here on Earth. I haven't listened to the gospel cd yet (not a gospel fan) but I am so glad that they are still together and making music and according to Chante's website is working on a solo set. I can't wait. Bring that beautiful voice back.

After a week of having the cd I am now listening to the second half of the cd and all I have to say is Make me like the moon. Nothing more needs to be said. Listen to that song and you will know what I mean.

This is a great CD. This CD made me believe in love again, and gave me faith that God will send me a wonderful husband very very soon. :-) Thank you.
