This review is from: Uncovering Racism (Covenant Bible Study Series.) (Paperback)
For most white folks, racism is "over". For people of color, despite the many changes in our society, many barriers and burdens are still there. This book is an excellent 10-meeting guide for a small group wanting to dig into the questions of racism and prejudice. The session materials would work best if each meeting's leader studied the "understanding" essay for the meeting, and then presented it in his or her own words. Also, if I were going to use this with younger people, I would have to find some activities or exercises to use up some energy without getting off-topic; as it is, the book is best suited for a group of people who don't mind sitting still.
