I bought "Project Queen" and this book at the same time. Since I really liked "Project Queen" I figured the author wouldn't disappoint me with this book either.

I was SO right! It's much different from "Project Queen," because it's adult reading. Some of the steamy sex scenes had me blushing.

Dominique Green is used to getting her way because she has brains, beauty, power, and money. If she has to use her "assests" to get ahead, so be it.

Her first day as the new Account Executive at Troutman Mutual Funds & Investments is ruined. The CEO dies and his nephew steps in to take over the company. It seems like Arvind Thompson must have been insulted by Dominique in a past life. He just can't stand her! Is it just an act?

I don't want to give too much away but I will say: I loved this book because it dealt with some deep issues like physical and sexual abuse. Dominique had to learn a valuable lesson about using people. Bad karma always comes back around.

Dominique Green is a woman that is used to getting what she wants when she wants it. She has climbed the corporate ladder of success at Troutman Mutual Funds & Investments company. Dominique thinks she's in line for a well-deserved promotion, that is, until the CEO dies. The CEO's nephew Arvind takes over the company and is ready to make some changes. But when Arvind finds himself mildly attracted to Dominique, he has decide if their relationship should be more than professional. Dominique already has occasional trysts with Chad, but she is suddenly interested in Arvind. But is Dominique focusing on the wrong man?

Uncrossing Her Legs is a widely entertaining novel from T. D. Patterson. Patterson brought a story with a good mix of drama and sexiness. Readers might think that this is a erotica novel, but it's more of a contemporary fiction story with a spicy twist. You see how Dominique's and Arvind's childhood affected them in their adult relationships. The unexpected twist in this story makes this novel all the more enjoyable. Uncrossing Her Legs is a fast-paced novel that is worth reading.

Uncrossing Her Legs by Teresa D. Patterson

This was my first read by this author and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I am a Prime Member and got this book free. I can't say that I really expected very much from it but it was really a great read. This was a story of self-esteem building, love in the raw and judging a book by it's cover. Teresa Patterson did a fantastic job of making the story pop without going overboard. I will definitely be looking forward to reading other stories by her. Kudos Ms. Patterson for a job well done.

This book had my head spinning with the steamy sex scenes throughout the book. Very hot and vivid descriptions throughout that kept me wanting more and more. When you pick this book up you might as well lock the door and get ready for an amazing evening. Another book I read recently that had me all sorts of hot and bothered is Raw Feelings After Work. This book is very erotic, very well written that grips you from beginning to end. You will not want to put this one down. Highly recommended.

As far as a book goes this is fine. The one really distracting thing on e kindle edition were words that end in ms such as "dreams" we're printed as "dreaMiss." and in erotica one word in particular ends like that so figuring out the code was slightly distracting. Also at the beginning a skirt is referred to as a squirt.

BRIEF SUMMARY
Dominique is at the top of her came at Troutman Mutual Funds & Investment Company. With being sexy and beautiful, people thinks she slept her way to the top, but she does what she needs to despite what others think they know about her. With the sudden death of the CEO, the company is now taken over by Arvin, the CEO's nephew. Arvin steps in wanting to teach Dominique a lesson.

THOUGHTS

I loved this book, but felt so conflicted in the end about Dominique's choice. Asking certain questions within this review will probably giveaway certain things in the book. However, what I will say is that I thought Chad got off too easy in what he did. Nevertheless, with that being said I still enjoyed the story. In regards to how the story ends, I definitely think there should be a sequel, because the guy she didn't pick, I think he can redeem himself with the right woman with his own story.

Dominique becomes stressed out after Arvind took over the company. But she found a sexy and kinky way to release her stress at home. Overtime, though Avrind had not so good intentions, Dominique began to see a different side of him. While getting to know Avrind, Dominique is still involve with a friends with benefit only relationship with Chad. I liked that the author kept us on our toes trying to figure out Dominique's life as she herself is trying to figure out what she wants, or thinks, she knows what she wants. Also, a nice addition the author gave us, surely kept our toes curled with all the steam coming from the bedroom.

This is my second book by the author as I read Spin Cycle months prior. In that book, I always thought there should have been more spice physically although I loved the book. But I think this book surely made up for that.

Romance Novel Junkies

Now if they author would write a sequel with Arvind as the main character so the readers can learn more about him and what makes him tick, then this would turn out to be an even better read!!!

I loved this story. I read it in a few hours because I couldn't put it down. I honestly didn't think the girl was as bad as what I thought she would be based on what I first read about the book. She was just unhappy because of past events and that's understandable. I wish there was a second book to finish telling us what happened to all of the characters.

Amazing book. Teresa D Patterson is my new favorite author. I love her way of writing. This was my first book I've read from her but definitely not the last. I read over a sample and i just had to buy the real book. It was so interesting that I read the whole book the day i bought it. LOVED IT!!!

This is the first book I've read from Teresa Patterson.
I'm now looking at some of her others. She has alot out there and I hear "Project Queen" her best seller is a "great read".

If you're tired of the "same old" this book is for you.

She does a superb job of relating her characters varying thoughts and perspectives.
With that said there's a "interesting" psychological exchange between the protagonist two love interests. I read the exchange a few times. "Insightful & Humorous".

Alot of "power playing" and "guard dropping" in this story.
She mixes it with some "seductive sexiness". This adds to the read!
Nice job!

"Get it on" as a "Buy" you won't regret it.
