Damn it feels good to hear ol' school,

Damn it feels good to hear the Geto Boys. These are original old school rappers who know how to paint a picture. Dark and haunting in some regards, this is the stuff rap should be made of. This is one of the better old school albums I own and the CD is worth the price and then some. From pure anger to telling the story of life on the wrong side, the Geto Boys usually get it right.

I AM FROM HOUSTON JUST LIKE THE GETO BOYS, AND I LOVE THIS CD. MY FAVORITE TRACK "MIND'S PLAYIN TRICKS ON ME" PUT HOUSTON ON THE MAP. "DAMN IT FEELS GOOD TO BE A GANGSTA," A LAID BACK TRACK THAT DESCRIBES THE MIND OF A GANGSTER IS ALSO ANOTHER EXCELLENT TRACK ON THIS CD. AS A LOVER OF GANGSTA RAP, OLD SCHOOL AND NEW, I WOULD PUT THIS CD AT EQUAL RANK WITH NWA'S CLASSIC, "STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON."

Their Greatest Hits is a must have,

Before I heard this album, I thought all the Geto Boys rapped about was drugs and violence. But this album shows their versatility. One of the tightest tracks, "The Unseen", is about the evils of abortion, and teaches responsibility. "Mind playin Tricks" is in my opinion the best of the classic Old Skool song and "Damn it feels good to be a Gangsta" is one of the realest songs i have ever heard. On this track, they say "We like being gangstas and we're not changing for anyone" BUY THIS CD
