5.0 out of 5 stars Whoopee!, November 15, 2011
Whoopee! Finally -- something the twins agree on (besides french fries and chocolate ice cream)! The Undead Express is just the ticket -- appealing to their taste for wholesome, good old-fashioned horror film thrills! Like Zach, the twins live in the city. While they haven't met any vampires or werewolves (that their parents know about...) yet, they relate to Zach and are even having civil conversation about the choices he makes. A great read!

I gave this book to my nephew and he could not put it down until he finished it. He's now hooked! This fits right into the genre of what kids love reading these days!

4.0 out of 5 stars A good, solid vampire story, December 11, 2005
This review is from: The Undead Express (Shadow Zone) (Paperback)
All too often in children's books, one encounters stories where the monsters or vampires were either a joke or a figment of someone's imagination. In this book, the vampires are very real. The story touches upon the impact that contact with vampires has on Zach, some of it good, most of it bad. Yet, Zach learns a lot from his experiences, while giving the readers a good horror-movie typed thrill at the same time. This book is lots of fun. If you like vampires, you won't be disappointed.
