Lisa Brokop has been (not for long)one of the most overlooked singer/songwriter's in Nashville, but Canadians know real (not candy coated)Country Music, when they hear it too. I'm American, Native American too, and I know "the best," when I hear the best...Lisa Brokop is the best.

Dennis Aiken...check this CD out for yourself...I loved "It's Me, and Dark Side Of the Moon," and many other Lisa Hits...including "Beautiful Trajedy,"

This is a great CD. Lisa is a great country singer that for some reason is not a popular as some other singers that aren't as good.

This is another good CD from Lisa Brokop. This one, her third, has less of a "typical" country sound to it, but it's not pop. Lisa's voice is as good as ever. The content of the songs is still strong on intelligent, nothing silly. Some songs:

I'd Like to See You Try - catchy with cool hooks. Pop with country flavor.

Timeless - Lisa shows she can carry a tune and hold notes on this one
Something Undeniable - uptempo number with force to it
Say
Whiskey and Wine - comparison of 2 different guys, their different drinks, and different situations. Good metaphor use here to tell a story

Top Notch. Keep Mom and Dad In Love with Hal Ketchum is my fav. Every cut is good!

This album is so full of Lisa's unique work. She comes across as a genuine person, both on the album and in person. She does not put on airs, and she appreciates her fans. I can hardly wait for the new one due out early 2003.
