Review

"Undeniable deserves more than 5 stars. I have been in a book funk for over a month. This book has just pulled me out of it. This book kept me up till 1:30 AM because I couldn't put it down. Undeniable is amazing. Undeniable is one of the best books I have read this year." - Amy, Reviewer at WWBB

"A beautifully written story."

"From the first page I was sucked in and my eyes didn't leave the page until I finished every last word."

"Serena Grey has a phenomenal talent for writing smoking hot male characters."

About the Author

Serena is obsessed with books. She reads everything, from history, to the classics, to novels and even comic books. She started writing because the many stories in her head wouldn't leave her in peace otherwise. Even though she loves all kinds of fiction, she has a soft spot for love and romance, and that flush of pleasure that can only be found at the end of a beautiful love story.

When she's not reading and writing, she enjoys cocktails, coffee, numerous TV shows, and has never gotten over her crush on Leonardo DiCaprio. If she had to choose between a good book and a tub of ice-cream, she'd take both and make a run for it.

More About the Author

Serena Grey has always loved to read. These days she also writes, because the stories in her head won't leave her in peace otherwise.

Even though she loves all kinds of fiction, she has a soft spot for love and romance, and that flush of pleasure that can only be found at the end of a beautiful love story. Ever since Fifty Shades of Grey and the Crossfire series, she's had a thing for hot sexy billionaires and tries to help them find happily-ever-afters in her books.

When she's not reading and writing, she enjoys cocktails, coffee, numerous TV shows, and has never gotten over her crush on LdC. If she had to choose between a good book and a tub of ice-cream, she'd take both and make a run for it.

“Protest all you want,” he says, “It won’t change the fact that this thing we have between us, it’s undeniable.”

Love, love, love, freaking LOVE this book.

Undeniable deserves more than 5 stars. I have been in a book funk for over a month. This book has just pulled me out of it. This book kept me up till 1:30 AM because I couldn't put it down. Undeniable is amazing. Undeniable is one of the best books I have read this year.

Olivia is a sweet girl who falls in love with Jackson at first sight when she is fourteen. Shortly after meeting Jackson and his family her parents are killed and she moves in with them. She spends every waking moment thinking about Jackson... I love Olivia. The way the author portrayed her when she was younger and older matched her ages. I didn't feel like the older Olivia was acting like a child but as an adult who was truly hurt by the love of her life.

Jackson is one of those wealthy kids who has everything and wants for nothing. He's hot, sexy, and a sweet heart. He's always nice to Olivia while she's living there... Jackson is my favorite. I loved him from the start. There was a part where I was disappointed in him and the rest of his family. That for someone who is so smart, could be so dumb at a time like that.

These two characters had me engrossed from page one. I couldn't get enough. I felt the intensity, the hurt, the pain, and the love. This was true love. I can't say enough how much I loved this book.

"Love is so short, he quotes solemnly, "forgetting takes forever." ~ Nick

I wish there was more to the ending. Maybe an Epilogue so I could find out what happened next but it does have a HEA. No cliffhanger here people. I recommend this book to everyone.

Undeniable is a full-length novel by author Serena Grey. I read the Dangerous Man short stories, and immediately became a fan of this author.

Devastating events seven years ago caused Olivia Wilder to walk away from Halcyon, leaving all of its painful memories behind, including Jackson Lockewood, the only man Olivia has ever loved. She’s spent the past seven years battling the pain of betrayal and depression. Now an accomplished photographer, Liv accepts a job photographing the historic Halcyon for an upcoming publication. She agrees to return to her childhood home only on the assurance that Jackson will not be there for the week-long photo shoot. Upon pulling into the drive, Liv quickly begins to rethink her decision when Jackson appears on the porch of the iconic home looking as beautiful as he did the day she walked away. Can she finish the job she’s come to do even while past feelings, misunderstandings, hurts, and secrets come rushing back threatening to destroy her already shaky resolve?

Undeniable is a touching story of childhood love, the devastation of betrayal, and the pain of a broken heart. Told from Olivia’s point of view, the author uses the first half of the book moving between present day and past events to explain the main character’s reticence for being back at Halcyon, while also establishing tremendous depth in understanding the character of Olivia. Olivia is not strong emotionally – the pains of her past cause her to vacillate between confident photographer and insecure “Livvie.” Jackson remains somewhat of an enigma throughout the story.

This reader is not a fan of constantly alternating chapters between the past and the present. This happened to be the second book like this read this month. I find it best to get a tale in chronological order and to just be told of a character’s history through their relating it to someone or reminiscing about it in their thoughts (small flashbacks) or another character disseminating the information. Once I realized how this book was written I read the present chapters in succession since I was invested in the present from the beginning and then later on I went back and read the past chapters.

Olivia Wilder suffered loss at a young age and survived with the help of the Lockewood family. Due to the maliciousness of one jealous of her she had her heartbroken and her trust destroyed by the young man and his family that she loved followed by even more tragedy which left her guilt ridden. It took her a long time to become a functional person again. Seven years have passed and Olivia is successful in her career of choice as a photographer but she remains closed off from her own emotions and from others until she finds herself back in the ancestral home of her young lover for a job. Seeing him again was unexpected and there is no denying that she still feels for him as she did all those years ago. She wants him but she refuses to let him see that she does, that he still hurts her.

Jackson Lockewood was always attracted to his aunt’s ward and it was inevitable that their attraction and connection would not be denied though he was older than her. Then one night his trust in her, his faith in them, was destroyed and in anger he turned away from her as did his sister and to a smaller degree his aunt.
