5.0 out of 5 stars Under Armour Cold Gear
I have one of these shirts that I use for rugby practice and games. I love the Under Armour brand, both for the quality of their products and top-notch athletic styling. It's not too clear on the Amazon page about the different fits of UA stuff, but this shirt is definitely the compression style fit. Meaning it's a very snug, second-skin type of fit, great for layering...

2.0 out of 5 stars mens under armour
I ordered this mens under armour for a christmas gift. I cant say for sure that its a knockoff..but its defintily nothing like the one I got last year at Bass Pro Shop. Seems to be good tech material tho-if ordering get a size up from what you`d normally get. I returned and went back to Bass Pro..slow to refund...

I have one of these shirts that I use for rugby practice and games. I love the Under Armour brand, both for the quality of their products and top-notch athletic styling. It's not too clear on the Amazon page about the different fits of UA stuff, but this shirt is definitely the compression style fit. Meaning it's a very snug, second-skin type of fit, great for layering under shirts or sweatshirts. My only gripe is that I'm quite a bit taller than average, so the sleeves are a bit short and it's tough to keep the bottom of the torso from creeping up while running around. For most people, I doubt this would be a problem. It's the "Cold Gear" line, which means the material is a little thicker and heavier (and more expensive) vs. the "Heat Gear" line. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works as advertized, May 30, 2009
You'd think that something as thin as this wouldn't keep you warm, but in March 2009 I was in Kansas City, MO for a conference. I had this as a base layer and wore a good windbreaker on top of it, some thick gloves to protect my hands, and reflective toque. It was 18 degrees F at 5am and I went for a run in KC from my hotel to the Liberty Memorial and back, total of 3.4 miles. This, along with my Under Armour Cold Gear Action Legging Mens, kept me warm.

If you run in cold weather, anywhere from 55 degrees to about 18 degrees, and you have a solid windbreaker, gloves, a nice warm hat, and this as a base layer, you'll be fine.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for sports, but not much more., November 6, 2005
I work outdoors year around refueling airplanes at an airport. I was looking for something to keep me warm than was not bulky. The under aurmor is skin tight and very light weight.

My job consists of spurts of high-paced physical work, followed by short periods of waiting (standing still.) While I'm working hard, it keeps me very warm, but it becomes very cold when I slow down and it does not block the wind at all. It also becomes very uncomfortable after a few hours.

It is a great buy for being physically active for a half hour or so then taking it off, but it is not coat; its not made for being worn outside for nine hours.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just what I needed!, February 13, 2009

I have been looking for a top to run in near freezing temps, so I gave this a try. I have used it a few times in temps in the high 20's and was very comfortable, which I just couldn't believe. Only once when it was cold and windy did I have to put on a light wind breaker. I also have the Cold Gear Hood which is the perfect companion to this item. The snug fit was a little strange at first but you get used to it immediately, and even standing around a bit after a run I was able to stay relatively warm. Can't recommend enough. Note: Great in temperatures up to 50 degrees, got a bit warm for me after that.

5.0 out of 5 stars staying warm gear, February 10, 2007
The fit and comfort of the under armour cold gear is better then any thing out there. You will stay warm when playing outside in the cold.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome, December 31, 2010
As with all of our under armour cold gear products, this mock T is fantastic. My son wears it all of the time. He loves not having to wear as many layers and not getting sweat-soaked while hiking the hills after the devil birds. It is even stylish enought that he wears it to school and around. For the active individual, when the temps dip, this is a must have, IMO.

4.0 out of 5 stars Bought it for myself for Christmas.., December 6, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought the top and the leggings for myself for Christmas as I have always wanted some Under Armour.
Well, I can say I AM certainly glad to have them! I have even worn the leggings under my skirts at work!
I do like how tight fitting they are, too - makes you feel like you're wearing a body shaper, keeping everything compressed feels good.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars was I was still colder than I thought I would be, and also because of the price.
I think, as one reviewer also said, that maybe they are designed for people on the 'move'.
I would still recommend to anyone.
