First off, I am a huge fan of underarmour as in a lot of the clothes I wear and work out in are underarmour. When I first got this, I felt the quality of the material. The quality is superb, its not some cheap cloth or none of that junk, this is the real deal. I wore while running in the cold yesterday im talking chicago cold, 10 degrees to be exact. It worked wonders, you can have it to cover up your mouth and nose, or you can cover just your mouth. Overall its a great product, so worth the money.

Well, I guess one of the three would be correct. But did you know that balaclavas have more uses than being the fashion item of choice for political dissidents worldwide? That's right! In addition to being a stylish addition to any "revolting" wardrobe (RPG sold separately), scientists have discovered many practical uses for such facial devices, including (and not limited to):
-Keeping your head warm
-Keeping your head dry
-Scaring people on public transit
-Flipping the neck part upside-down to mimic religious officials' awesome hats
-And many, many more!

You'll be in luck that this magnificent piece of textile fits the bill for virtually every feature listed above and much more. Since acquiring this wonderful head gear for my motorcycle, I've found my chilly 35-degree rides to my campus's bus completely tolerable, and by leaving it on (sans-helmet) upon entering the vehicle, I have had a significant drop in the amount of people who want to talk to me about deep, philosophical topics such as, "What you ride, bro?" and, "Aren't bikes dangerous?". Although if they insist past your intimidating Cobra Commander-esque presence, you can be assured that it will hide your smirk as you tell them about your "Charlston XD500 19SL Superduper" to which they (always) reply, "Sick," or, "Oh, my brother rides. I think he has one of those."

The only downside I can think of to wearing this item is that upon wearing ear buds underneath (which works great at making sure your helmet doesn't pull them out as you're putting it over your head), you might find yourself in an uncontrollable state of "rocking out", which to passerby might look more like you are being attacked by a swarm of bees (true story) or possibly fighting electric current coursing through your body after improperly insulating the wires after the ballast for your "mad sick HID kit" (also true story).

Overall, I highly recommend this product to anyone.

I chose this hood to wear for winter bike riding. It performed wonderfully on my last ride which was at 21F. Without the hood, riding in colder temperatures is harder because your air-way dries out and gets cold quickly. The breathability of the material is wonderful. Even during a challenging bike ride, you're not gasping for air.

I bought this for the cold months coming up, it is somewhat tight, but fits. I've used one before that is why I bought this one. When I'm bored I wear it to look like a ninja sort of person, I know I'm a little lame lol.

I like anything underarmour pretty much, so when this came in the mail, I was pretty happy with it. It definitely does what it's supposed to -- it's a head sock, it keeps your head warm.

it's breathable, but that doesn't mean it's so breathable that you can inhale the world through it. it's breathable just to the point that you're not suffocating. to put it short, it isn't a sunday drive/walk in the park, but it works.

also, it's not as tight as i'd like it, however, it IS a one size fits most product, so generally, the bigger your head, the better it'll look.

be mindful that after a lot of use outside in the cold, moisture is gonna build up around the mouth, and you'll be left with a light damp spot that looks like a circle around your lips and mouth. it's not enough to make kids go "ha ha what a loser" but it's still there. if you're running, or biking, it's not like they'll get a very good look at you anyway.

Bought it for skydiving in winter period. Very comfortable mask, didn't make me sweat in worm environment. You can keep it on you neck and put it on real quick. You can cover all your face leaving only eys open, or you can open your mouth and nose....I jumped in it from 13500ft about the ground. It was about 45 on the ground and about 0-10 degrees in the air, was falling for 50 seconds with 120 mph, didn't even feel that I was actually doing it in late october (New York state)...worth it's cost 100%

It is soft on the skin and adjusts well. I found it easy to breath through. I was able to put on my Plantronics Bluetooth stereo headset and this went over it with no problem. My neck is completely covered and my jacket collar over laps it. It was easy to slide my sunglasses on and off. It is not cold out yet but I really think this will help keep the wind off my ears and checks. I will update as soon as I can ride in something below 30 degrees. For now I totally recommend this...

UPDATE 11/19/2013
I was able to use this on an 18 mile ride with the wind making it chilli at best. It was like night and day. With out it my ears and checks were cold after a couple of blocks. Decided to go back home for it. I don't think it was below freezing but I felt it was a good test. I was warm the whole way.

Also would like to note after a couple of washes the fit is unchanged.

UPDATE 11/26/2013
Was able to use on a bicycle ride in just below freezing. I was plenty warm and it wicked the sweat fine so I didn't fill soaked. Very happy.

One more UPDATE 12/17/2013

Okay I have been in below freezing weather now. The feels like was in single digits and the actual was was barely out of the teens. Anyone that says they are cold are either not using it right or needed to think about moving further south. Growing up my hands and ears was always the first to freeze. In this I didn't feel a thing. The more I peddled and concentrated on my breathing the better it got.

In the last few weeks I have had someone on each of my errons ask where I got it.
