I've owned this shirt for about 2 years and, although it's now beginning to show signs of wear, I've put it through it's paces. I even trained for and ran a marathon in it. It's a relatively thin, soft shirt that wicks very effectively. Many shirts in this category tend to use what feels like harsher, less cotton-like materials or construction. I wouldn't put this with the top elite (and high priced) training wear, but this Underarmour T feels natural and light and is reasonably priced.

It's great that these are so thin - they air out really well. However, they're also translucent because of that. White is not a good color for these. They also seem to fit on the large side. The neck/collars were inconsistent. They look like they're stretched out due to the angle they were sewn in at and I one that I could barely get my head through while the others were fine. Definitely not the quality I expected.

Under Armour's a great company, makes quality products, and has great customer support.

That said... they ruined the fit of what used to be a fantastic shirt. They discontinued the older model of this shirt in 2005... but I could still find it in stores until about 2 yrs ago.

If you are a bodybuilder with large arms & pecs, chances are you may find the cut of this shirt too tight. The old shirt weave/material was more comfortable and flexible enough to stretch in tight areas. I went from an XL in the old model to a 2-3XL in this shirt to keep it from being too tight in the chest and underarms. This makes it baggy and uncomfortable elsewhere. The weave/material in this shirt is not as comfortable/flexible and has a sheen to it; it still has decent wicking ability. The shirt also seems to shorten after a number of washings... adding to the uncomfortable fit.

This remains a great shirt for the typical distance runner (hence the other positive reviews)... just wanted to pass this info along to the bodybuilders out there who are bound to find it a bad fit...

This shirt was exactly what my son wanted - the fit was perfect, the color was vibrant and the price was great.

I used to think a t-shirt is a T-shirt. Then I discovered moisture wicking material: the heavens opened, and working out was a new era. I used to buy my shirts for $5 at a retailer I won't disclose (but their major salesperson is a mannequin), so I was a little apprehensive toward a $20-$30 purchase on an Under Armour garment.
Since then, ALL of my workout shirts are Under Armour! Mom was right: you get what you pay for! The value, the fit, and quality is fantastic. If you have a pudge around the belly, I recommend this sleeveless T. If you're ripped, I recommend the UA compression shirt - it REALLY improves your athletic performance.

i have been wearing these shirts for years. workouts, casual wear or a base layer. excellent performance, so comfortable all year round. and they seem to wear forever after repeated washings. very little fraying after a year of numerous wear and washings. my only complaint: it seems to me that the 'midnight' colored shirt is a little longer than the other colors. and as i am tall (i wear the xxl)i only buy the midnight colored shirts. just something i had noticed when i bought my original shirts in a retail store during the last couple of years.

This was a gift for my boss, but it was a great gift I am told. He loves this to work out in and says it keeps you quite dry. My husband likes these as well.
