The Under Armour Mirage running shoe is designed for adventurous runners with mildly flexible arches who desire stability and cushioning on unpredictable terrain. FootSleeve™ ventilated internal sleeve, lined with UA Heatgear®. Stretch fit panels hug the foot and help eliminate sliding and extra bulk. DCE™ Smooth Transition is an integrated system of Cartilage1™, ArmourGuide™, ArmourBound™, and ArmourLastic™ into an independent suspension system to provide for flexible shock absorption on uneven surfaces. Cartilage1™ provides protective and stabilization properties at heel strike. ArmourGuide™ is A TPU frame located at the midsole perimeter that absorbs shock and re-forms after decompression. AmourLastic™ is a more dense EVA that absorbs shock in areas of heavy, repetitive stress. Found in mapped zones of the forefoot to provide better propulsion from into toe-off. ArmourBound™ cushioning engineered to increase platform surface area without adding weight. Smoothes transition with a full-length ground contact fulcrum. CR37™ is a dense, durable blend of rubber in the highly tread heel strike zone. Found also in lugs one millimeter embedded in the midsole to add traction when pressure is placed on the forefoot. SR13™ is a durable, reduced weight rubber in the wear path from heel to toe. BR77™ lightweight rubber on the lateral forefoot helps reduce unnecessary weight in the least worn areas. Wt. 1

These shoes are not for running, even though they are marketed as such. These are good for working out in the gym, on the crosstrainer and maybe walking/casual wear. They were very uncomfortable to run on regardless of the surface or if I was on the treadmill. Buy a real pair of running shoes if that's what you need.
