5.0 out of 5 stars Montana's Musical Landscapes, February 17, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Under the Big Sky Guitar Anthology (Audio CD)
Stuart Weber, protege of guitarist Christopher Parkening, has earned himself a reputation both as a virtuoso of the classical guitar and as a modern master of classical composition. In this CD he has taken the best of the best from his recording work over the last 15 years and created a musical anthology which displays not only his impressive accomplishments as a musician, but the unique sensibilities of the Montanan West which he has chosen to make his home. Truly an artist to watch!

5.0 out of 5 stars Under the Big Sky, April 8, 2002
This review is from: Under the Big Sky Guitar Anthology (Audio CD)
Weber's compositions are classical, but feel immediate. I thought the most powerful music written for a river was Smetana's 'Moldau' but Weber's 'Missouri Breaks' will ultimately be as well known. This CD is permanently in my CD player while I change the music in the other five slots. I love his other four CDs, and look forward to finding them on this site.
