Absolute GENIUS!,
By Han Chung (Sydney, Australia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Under the Bridge / Give It Away (Audio CD)
This is one of those songs where the guitars of John Frusciante combine so well with the bass of Flea and the lyrics and vocals of Anthony Kiedis. The beautiful guitar intro breaks into an extremely complex progression of chords and fills that Frusciante has made his trademark. The guitar part is definitely the highlight of this song. The bass flows so smoothly and compliments the song so well. A definite must have in any CD collection!

Under the Bridge single,
By A Customer
This review is from: Under the Bridge / Give It Away (Audio CD)
one of the many hit singles off of Blood Sugar Sex Magik, Under the bridge gives the perfect example of rhcp's creativity - musically and poetically. The single is great, and is worth any money, but it shouldn't be bought. If you like Under The Bridge, buy the album that the song came from(bloodsugarsexmagik)because Under The Bridge is only the begining of rhcp's wonderful music. Under the bridge can also be found on the greatist hits album: What Hits!? Which is an album of older 80's favorites. Check out all the chili peppers music, you'll be pleasently surprised- especially if your are involved in any music yourself. RhCP writes the most sophisticated music of any modern rock band without doubt. Once you find yourself listening to their 3 brilliant flavors of rock: funk, acoustic, and punk; you will agree with me. Anyways, after a while of listening to under the bridge you would want more, so get more in the first place before you ende up spending some extra money!

This song is the greatest song off "Blood Sugar Sex Magik" and maybe even the best RHCP song ever. It is such a fantastic, meaningful song.

The best song i have ever heard,
By John Rusak (richmond,VA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Under the Bridge / Give It Away (Audio CD)
When i first heard this song i said to my self who is that tha is perfect i have never heard anything like that.It was not what got me in to the chili peppers because i did not know who it was. when i had found out it was them i was like so astonished. i had only heared the previeous stuff and this was not like that. I am only saying this so u know that i dont like this cause they are my favorite band.In fact as i am writing this review i am playing this song, ha ha ha. The guitar solo in the begining is so smoth and perfect. This song was what bosted the peppers into the main strem it is a great if you dont feel like getting blood sugar sex magic. I want every one to know that i have all the chili pepper albums but i do not like this just because i like them.

BEST SONG EVER,

Best Chili Peppers song ever. After tha, it's easily the best song ever. Great guitar, bass (especially chords for this songs) and good drums (sometimes i feel sorry for chad surrounded by greats and good but not as great as them), and amazing vocals and lyrics.I don't know the best part of this song. If you like it, you will also like Soul to Squeeze by the peppers. And get every one of their CD's With great lyrics, vocals, music, and the best bassist ever, no one can beat them But get BSSM instead of the single If it doesn't sound great at first, give it time. All RHCP songs improve with time. |
