The story line is easy to follow and, though written by a man, the romance was well written. It is a fun book filled with ambitious characters all wanting the Christian faith and fighting to have it.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys romance, suspense, and lots of fun!

I really enjoyed this book. It had both adventure and romance. It's great to read an exciting, don't want to put it down type of book, that has Christian morals in it. I look forward to reading the next book Jeffrey W. Bennett writes.

Under the Lontar Palm was a book that really draws you into the story, the characters and the plot. It is a book that is hard to put down once you start. It gives the feeling of Jan Karon's Mitford Series, where as the characters are believable and likable. You are transformed into the jungle with the characters and don't want to come out.
Under the Lontar Palm is about the struggle between attaining both affluence and success versus doing the will of God. Before the end you will be engrossed in several scenes of intense, page-turning action as well as the evolution of a sweet romance.
At the conclusion, you are left with a feeling that you don't want to leave the characters and wish there was still another chapter.

Detailed, exciting and is written in a manner that places the reader at the event. I enjoyed the Christian theme throughout the book and the comfort in knowing that there are writers that will write a clean yet exciting book. Characters were believable
and warm and I did not want it to end.

Jeffrey Bennett has proven that it is possible to write an exciting adventure and heartfelt romance that contains a strong Christian message. I found this book hard to put down. The characters are well-developed, the plot interesting, and the issues of faith enlightening. I would highly recommend this book!

Jeffrey Bennett has crafted a well paced easily read romantic adventure. His talent with words draws the reader into the midst of a drama that holds your interest. His dialogue echo's authenticity as the action of the story rings with truth. This book has great movie potential. I look forward to reading more from Mr. Bennett.
