Best quality cloth diaper,
By
This review is from: Under The Nile Pre-Fold Diaper 4 Pack, Natural 14"x18" (Baby Product)
I've tried several different types of cloth diapers in my journey to being a little greener and saving a little green. They all start off pretty decent but then lose their thickness and become quite rough on my daughters skin. I came upon these and although very interested based on the description, the price scared me. I went for it anyway and good gracious I am so happy I did. These diapers are so soft and gentle on baby skin that I never worry about my little one getting irritated. They also absorb such a crazy amount of urine that I never worry about waiting an extra 15 minutes to change her diaper if I'm in the middle of laundry or cooking. I have never had an accident or a bad experience and can't wait to replace all my cloth diapers with ones from Under the Nile.

Yes, they are expensive - but they are simply the best prefold out there!,

I have used so many brands of prefold diapers: Econobums, Gerber, vintage Curity, GMD, Cotton Babies Chinese & Indian cotton prefolds and some other flannel brand I can't remember that was sold at Toys R Us eleven years ago. These are by far the trimmest and most absorbent prefold diaper that I have found. The inner core has layers of cotton, and they're tighter together than other diapers and not as fluffy. (I'm not sure how else to describe it.) Even though they're not as fluffy and don't quilt up after being washed, they are still nice and soft. They are great for pinning, although I couldn't use a Snappi with them because the knit is so tight. If you hate using pins, they could also be used to stuff pockets or folded into a wrap style cover.

These are by far the best prefolds out there. Not only are they organic, but they are also incredibly soft and absorbent. They have a bit of strech to them too, which makes them easy to put on with a snappi. I highly recommend trying these out, you won't be disappointed.

Best prefolds ever!,

Soooft, and a little stretchy for easier pinning/snappi-ing. The 14 by 18 " size fits my 24 pound son perfectly without being bulky. Love these!
UPDATE: It turns out the persistant diaper rash my son was having was due to a polyester allergy- and these have a poly padding in the middle, despite claiming to be %100 cotton. Disappointed.

The best pre-folds,

These are the nicest pre-folds I have ever seen (or touched). They absorb a lot and are very soft and full.

Rude, Absorbs Less, Short,
This review is from: Under The Nile Pre-Fold Diaper 4 Pack, Natural 14"x18" (Baby Product)
Nile customer service is rude, and they are confused about dimensions and type of cotton. Fabric is not very soft and absorbs very little. That's why traditional diapers are twill or birdseye weave, not knitted interlock. Urine glides off of this fabric instead of being absorbed. Serging on all sides is rough and uncomfortable for baby. Most diapers only have serging on top and bottom, but this has it on all sides. It shrinks several inches after wash. Bulky tags must be snipped off because they are rough and irritating. This was a complete waste of time and money!

we watched many a video about how to use these old style plain diapers, but never could get it just right. my son outgrew them too quickly. they are wonderfully soft, though, and if we dont get to try them out on another will probably use them to polish stuff. we LOVE egyptian cotton!
