this is one of those ultra rare black metal compilations that the collector that you are, MUST land your forked hand upon.
along with "feuersturm", "nordic metal" and the more recent "night and fog" series, those are highly worthy compilations featuring black metal bands at the top of their game and executing their music with passionate delivery. while musicianship on some songs might be sloppy, and mixing/production could be way better, those should by no means be obstacles to the inherent greatness present in those songs.
unpolished and raw, this is black metal present in all its majesty, savagery, and romanticism.
