I put this album on one evening while my family was eating dessert, and the whole family loved it. Even my cynical, Pokemon-hardened, ten-year-old son got excited about it. Days later, my five-year-old was singing "The Bear Missed The Train" to himself. The variety of songs, including stories and children singing, made for a colorful and interesting listening experience for me, a life-long Grateful Dead/Beatle/Who/Cassandra Wilson fan. An excellent album for kids and adults who love them!

We LOVE this CD. The zany Bear Missed the Train, the lovely Chesapeake Bay...I can't say enough good things about this collection. Sue has a great voice and style; sorta folksy, sorta jazzy, she defies definition. Adults in our family like to listen to this as much as the kids do. A real breath of fresh air.

My daughter and I love to listen to Sue Trainor's Under Tables, Out Back Doors CD. The lyrics tell fun stories and are easy for kids to remember. Our favorite song is the Bear Missed the Train; we find ourselves singing it often. This is a great CD and we highly recommend it.

Very lively and thoughtful songs that energize and support children. Especially fun are the dance songs such as "Alligator Dance" and several movement songs. This is a great CD for the daytime but not recommended for going to sleep, as the children want to get out of bed and dance. Silly songs abound--such as "The Bear Missed the Train". Highly recommended for very young but eight-year olds liked it too. Warning: Provokes a lot of laughter!

Sue has an amazing prescence and energy that kids of all ages will enjoy! Don't be afraid to dance, laugh and sing along.

We're Sue Trainer's greatest fans, and this is one of our favorite of her albums. I keep a couple on hand because I've yet to find a child who didn't love it, and a parent who didn't appreciate having music that the children liked and they actually enjoyed too. Everyone has their favorite song. I'm just glad there's a repeat on my car CD player.
