Love These Cute and Safe Baby Toys,
This review is from: Organic Veggies and Fruit Safe Non-toxic Teething Toys for Baby (Apparel)
These are the cutest baby toys! They have such charming little faces on every fruit or vegetable. Our baby loves his green bean toy the most. And the banana, corn and strawberry are very sweet as well.
They are the perfect size for baby hands and when they need to be cleaned (after being chewed or spit on by baby cakes) we just use a baby wipe and it freshens them right up. Even our three-year old has "adopted" the tomato as a favorite stuffed animal. This is my first choice when I need to buy for baby showers now. Everyone always oohs and ahhs over how cute and original they are. Also, these are great stocking stuffers for new babies...just prepare yourself for a toddler (or other older sibling) that might end up wanting a veggie baby of their own! In my opinion, the only thing that would make these toys better for babies would be some kind of jingle chime or rattle inside, but, as is, these toys are pretty darn close to perfect.

I got the green beans and tomato for my son when he was under 6 months old. He absolutely loved the green beans. They are perfect for a beginner teether. They are long and skinny so he could easily hold them and keep them in his mouth at the same time. And yes, they do get kind of gross after getting soaked with spit, but you can easily just stick them in the wash with a load of laundry.
The tomato- my dog liked. She got to it before my son and ripped it apart, but she must have liked it! I also purchased the carrot later, but for some reason that one he didn't love. Kids!

This organic cotton stuffed carrot is a really cute toy for a baby. My son isn't overly enthused about it, but makes a really neat set along with the other stuffed veggies by Under the Nile. The carrot in particular isn't real soft, and the outer fabric is similar to t-shirt fabric, unlike the mushroom that is more soft and cushy with a terry-cloth outer fabric. So far I just purchased the mushroom and carrot, because I didn't want to spend the money on the entire set with the wooden bin before knowing if my son would be interested in it. I'm not going to purchase the other veggies because he is 9 months old didn't find these to be very entertaining. The Under the Nile organic veggies would make a great gift for a younger infant.

my now nine-month-old twins both LOVE this green bean (and the carrot). it's one of their favorite teething toys and was one of the first things they actually reached for and emitted squeals over! Plus it goes in the washing machine and dryer so after it gets a soaking from being chewed on, it can get clean again.

My 6 month old has been teething since he was 3 months. We continue to add to our variety of teethers. He really likes all kinds but often prefers a soft teether. This is perfect. Great size for his hands and mouth. It also makes me feel better that it is organic cotton. I am a mom who tries to find products that are safe, BPA free and organic. This one has been great!

My daughter has loved this toy for months now and its teething aspects alone are worth it; it's her favorite chew toy. Cute toy!

I purchased this item for our friends who were expecting their first born. I attached it to the present with ribbon, as a decoration. The soon-to-be father was invited to the baby shower, and he was holding the green bean toy for the first 30 minutes of the party (mine was the first present opened) during gift opening time, until one of the guests shouted out "hey, do you think you could pass that green bean toy around so the rest of us can get a good look?!". He responed "I don't know, I kinda like it right here in my hand, its so cute!". It was the joke of the shower and a very "cool bean"! Cole was born April 1st and the bean sits on the changing table just waiting for its first grab :-)

I was very excited to get these after reading all the glowing reviews. Unfortunately, my baby didn't take to them so much. I bought several and he liked the green bean the best. It was the only one that he could handle and get in his mouth (5 months). I also got the strawberry, eggplant and the banana, but they were too big and he isn't able to grip them. Even now at 8 months he has no interest. I bought the larger sized ones after reading that folks said the smaller ones were too small, but the strawberry and eggplant are too big and there is nothing for him to grip.. picture teeting on someting shaped like an apple. Big disappointment.

Love the bean!,

Perfect for grasping and chewing. No worry with it in mouth -- organic & no parts to come off. No worry when baby hits face with the green bean -- soft!
Super cute too, Picture does not show it well, but the bean is more tapered at tip, and this fits well into baby's mouth. It also looks like there are balls of stuffing which make up the beans inside the green bean! We will be ordering more for post teething time for pretend fruit & veggie play. I love knowing that baby is safe with this toy! The only thing I'd change is to make the loop on the bean's hat bigger to fit rings/links for hanging on mobile.

These are great toys and just too cute. My older boys like to use them as puppets for my younger one who giggles the whole time. They have withstood the abuse so far.
A nice chewable soft toy. |
