propaganda and half truths,

This review is from: Under Vine and Fig Tree (Paperback)
My parents attend a Mennonite church in PA and this book was recently used as a study tool in my father's Sunday School class. Over Christmas I happened upon it among my father's books and within seconds found half a dozen misrepresentations of historical truth, and a dozen more within a short time after that.
This is one of the most biased accounts of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict I have ever seen. If I could give this book a zero star rating I would gladly do so. For a more accurate and thorough depiction of the history of Israel, "From Time Immemorial" by Joan Peters is well worth the read. |
