Exciting love story,

This is one of Rebecca Winters' best books and, next to "Undercover Bachelor" and "Undercover Baby" my favorite in the Undercover series. I couldn't put it down. The hero, private investigator Gerard Roch, is such a charismatic man and a great guy. On his current assighment, he goes through the wringer of angst as he falls in love with Whitney Lawrence, an eighteen year old school girl - a girl who could be his daughter. In reality, Whitney Lawrence is a twenty-six year old attorney posing as a teenager. Both the hero and the heroine want to capture Mr. Smith, who is a plant for a foreign government and seducer of Whitney's sister. The private investigator and the attorney do not know the other's true identity. And here start the problems - and the fun. When Gerard learns that Whitney is only posing as a teenager, he fears she is Hank Smith's accomplice. But he can't help but fall in love with this woman. Whitney, in turn, believes that Gerard is her sister's seducer. But she, too, can't help but fall in love.This was such an exciting story - full of discoveries, misconceptions, disguises and humor. A fun light-hearted read. I stayed up until five am because I couldn't put it down. The ending was beautifully done. As with all my favorite novels, my only complaint is: It ended way too soon. I would have loved to accompany this couple throughout their engagement, as well as the first years of their marriage. Rebecca Winters is one of my favorite authors. So far, I have read about sixty books of hers. Save a few exceptions, most of them gave me wonderful reading experiences. I especially enjoy those stories with a mediterranean setting. Please keep them coming, Ms Winters!

Whitney Lawrence was a not so smart lawyer, she wanted to find the man who left her teenage sister pregnant.
But instead of going through the law, court or the police, Whitney goes undercover as a eighteen-year old student. Problem Eric-Gerard Roche is looking for the same man, only his man is stealing secerts from our government, and selling then to Russia. How is a school teacher getting secerts from our government the book never explains that. But Gerard falls in love with Whitney, only he knows it isn't going to work. She is young enough to be his daughter. He doesn't know she is twenty-six-years-old. Between them they get the scroungy piece of dirt; And each other. From the back of the book: 'lessons in love? Whitney Lawrence is determined to find the man who seduced her eighteen-year-old sister and left her pregnant. So, going undercover on the same school trip her sister took, she sets a seduction trap!
