5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous, September 27, 2002
By A Customer
This is the first Rebecca Winters book I ever read, and it is still my favorite. The characters are moral people who don't jump into bed at the first chance they get. They struggle to do the right thing as the hero works to save the girl from a stalker. How easy it would have been to take the low road and have the characters go at it like rabbits. However, Winters took the high road and made the book incredibly enjoyable to read.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is a can't put it down kind of novel!, June 5, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Undercover Husband (Hardcover)
I loved this book because the heroine is in danger and the hero is the pi who protects her. He decides to go undercover as her husband. It's really good because he tries not to blur the lines between professionalism and his desire for her. But the chemistry between them is electrifying and you can't wait for them to get together. He's such a great hero, the kind every woman would love to meet in real life. Roman Lufka... he's unforgettable.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Good Beach Book!, November 1, 1999

I enjoy reading Rebecca Winters' books becuase she doesn't insult her readers with trite dialog and pathetic situations. She is a realist who also happens to be romantic. This is one of my favorite books. She can write to almost anyone's ideal!

4.0 out of 5 stars A True Hero, April 30, 2009
By
Roman Lufka faces his greatest foe: Love. He fell in love with beautiful stalking victim Brittany Langford. Roman decided to protect her by a fake marriage. Roman thought this was the best way to protect Brit, until he found he needed to be protected from falling in love.
Brit felt the same way, but the more she learned about this gorgeous mysterious P I the more uneasy she becomes.
Though he has saved her life, she doesn't quite know if she is perpaired to be with someone who is not open and honest with her as to who he really is. Brit's sure he there is more to Roman that meets the eye, and she is right, she doesn't want to trust being in love with him.
From the back of the book: 'She's his client. Roman Lufka is a rough, tough private investigator. He's been hired to protect Brittany Langford. The easiest way to be by she side, twenty-four hours a day, is to go undercover-as Brittany's husband.
...and his wife! But if protection his "wife" is easy, living with her isn't. They're perfect stangers-and for Roman, Brit is all too perfect. It seems this comfirmed bachelor is facing his toughest assignment yet-falling in love!'
