A funny, heart-warming tale of an undercover princess.,
This review is from: Undercover Princess (Royally Wed) (Harlequin Romantic Suspense) (Paperback)
Princess Katherine seems to have the magic touch for healing Trey's dysfunctional family. Forget the premise of looking for the missing crown prince--it's pretty unconvincing anyway. Instead, focus on this wonderful tale of how one woman can make a difference! Truly a keeper!Read the Royally Wed series of Wynborough in order: Royal Baby on the Way, Undercover Princess, The Princess's White Knight, The Pregnant Princess, & Man Mercenary Monarch.

Wonderful story involving kids.,

Wonderful hero and fantastic heroine! The characterization and passion are amazing. What was particularly enjoyable for me, as an added bonus over and above even these great things, were the scenes where the heroine, Kathy, interacts as temporary nanny with the children of the hero, Trey. His six-year-old son Doug has not talked since the hero's wife died three years before. Dougie copes with his trauma by pretending he is a dog. The manner in which Kathy coaxes him back into acting like a little boy again instead of a dog are at times hilarious and other times extremely touching. Kathy's relationship with the hero's teenage, rebellious daughter is great, too. I don't usually like most romances with kids because they are just too "precious," but this one is very well done. Really believable and well characterized.

Enjoyable read,

A friend loaned me Undercover Princess, and I was pretty skeptical about it. The premise seemed farfetched and laughable. I managed to suspend my disbelief and get into the story involving a boy who thinks he's a dog, his sister who is a little too defiant, their charming executive father, and the nanny who is really a princess. The writing was snappy and clever, and the characters were endearing. I actually went out and bought the other books in the series and this one is by far the best.
