This CD rocks! I saw these guys at a show in Toronto and they were so awsome! I can't believe that these guys are only a new band. Their sound is so together! I definately reccomend EVERYONE buying this CD!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome!, May 15, 2003

I love this CD! These guys totally rock the world! My favorite's are Enemy, night like never, and one more day. I just saw them live and picked up the CD at the show, but I had to write in here and tell everybody just how great they are! And unlike most bands I see live, they are BETTER live, so much energy. I think most bands are just studio tricks, but not Undercurrent. They are the real thing! AWESOME ALL THE WAY!! :)

The debut album of UNdERCURRENT is full of thought provoking lyrics that don't make one angry but inspire one to search deep within and to look at society through anothers eyes. This CD is great to listen to driving in the car as well as just sitting at home relaxing. Many of the tunes have great dance beats and it was easy to find myself drumming the steering wheel as I motored along. This is definitely a MUST HAVE CD for everyones collection. A hometown band I can be proud of!

5.0 out of 5 stars Refreshing Rock with an emotional twist, May 14, 2003

In today's world of sound-alike bands with minimal talent, I always get excited when something different comes along. I picked up this CD from Undercurrent, and I have to say, I am very impressed. These guys don't stick to one particular sound, but show thier range of musical styles/talents throughout the album. It flows perfectly from start to finish. Rockers like "Falling Awake", "Enemy" and "Become What You Hate" lead in to emotional ballads such as "Again" and "Sitting Outside". This one is in my stereo for a long, long time. Great Job Undercurrent! Keep working hard, you are headed for the big time.

3 words of wisdom....get it now!

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW, May 9, 2003

Where could i possibly start. When i listened to this cd my jaw instantly dropped and stayed that way for the whole 41 minute experience. The boys of undercurrent are a new rock band straight out of Canada, and let me tell you, they crush the competition. I dont usually listen to music like undercurrent, but they instantly became my favorites, and thats what is great about them, no matter what genre of music you normally listen to, Undercurrent is enjoyable to listen to for anyone. The cd starts off with Have it all, and let me say, what a great song to kick off a debut album, the song couldnt be more catchy. My personal favorite is Again, an edgy song with kick, it is an instant classic in my mind. No matter who you are or what kind of music you are in to, Undercurrent is for you, the new cd will suck you in and will be playing in your stereo for monthes. So what are you waiting for!!! Go out and get that Cd!!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars [great!]Rock n Roll, May 8, 2003

These guys rock! No whining and no BS, which is a refreshing change from all the teenage punk/angst out there these days. Really addictive stuff and I find myself listening to it over and over again. Good blend of hard rock and some nifty ballads that my girlfriend loves and have grown on me too. Check out Again; great piano work and some subtle but effective strings that gets my girl feeling all sentimental. Wouldn't be surprised to see a few singles come out of this (and maybe another CD or two?). Definitely proof that guitar bands are not dead but alive and well and rocking in the USA!...
