Tight Underground Muzik,
By O.C.T. TX "Wesley" (Dallas, TX USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Underground 1 (Audio CD)
This cd is for true Mafia Fans. It is a collection of a few of Three 6's underground tracks from the early 90's. Lot's of the tracks are just instrumentals but the beats are real bumpin'. Here's what I think about each track:
-Ridin' N' Da Chevy (Laid back track with a slow, hypnotic beat) -N*gaz ain't Barrin' Dat (Instrumental-the beat is real tight) -Charging These Hoez (Aight song w/ DJ Paul) -Now I'm High, Really High (Koopsta Knicca verse is weird but tight) -Sucks On D*** (Instrumental-Beat is clean) -Playa Hataz (Beat is TIGHT! Real hardcore song) -Paul, With Da 45 (Instrumental-Beat is clean) -Where Da Bud At (I think this is the best of Lord Infamous' Bud Smokin' songs, beat is clean) -Mask And Da Glock (I really liked Lil' Glock & S.O.G., and I don't know what happened to them. This song is clean.) -Don't Be Scared (Funny song by Juicy J) -Time For Da Juice Mane (Instrumental-Tight azz beat) -Walk Up To Yo House (Bumpin' gangsta song) -Yeah, They Done F*ed Up (Instrumental-Alright song) -Talk Yo Ass Off (Tight song by DJ Paul) -F* All Dem Hoez (Tight song-Juicy J's verse is funny) I love this cd. Some people may not like it-including the fans of today's commercial rap music. But fans of Three 6 should check it out.

The Dopest Three 6 Mafia Album,
By Tha Undaground King (Richmond, VA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Underground 1 (Audio CD)
Real Hypnotize fans will love this album. It is the tightest H.C.P. album ever, and the tracks are from the early days. There isn't a single song on here that you'll wanna skip, and if you're into the REAL gangsta music, this album will have you "real buck, real buck". The hard, grimmy beats, and dark lyrics can surely have you ready to take care of the hatas in your city. Cliche rap fans need not apply, this is the real underground dope stuff. If you think that G-Unit is the best label, this album isn't for you; Hypnotize Minds rules this rap game! Punks guard yo grills, and hatas strap up them vests, this album will even have your momma ready to hit some licks. Cop this album if you know wat's good for ya!!!!
Best Songs: 1) Paul Wit Da .45 2) Ridin' in Da Chevy 3) Playa Hataz

How It All Started,
By Old School (Houston) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Underground 1 (Audio CD)
This is how they initiated their music. It has some tight joints like "ridin n tha chevy" "Ngz aint barrin dat" "Mask and da glock" and "where's da bud". I don't know why they deleted the part where Lord Infamous says "Come with me to hell Pt.2" on ridin on the chevy at the beginning i wonder why, cause that song was on that mixtape. It has alot of stuff from many mixtapes from paul and juice, it has some good junts but still missing songs from other tapes that i heard before. Probably cause it has many ex-mafia members like skinny pimp, gangsta blac, playa fly, mc mack, scan man. Only real fans of 36 should cop this.

this album is just too tight. You can tell some of the songs were suspose to be on mystic styles like Ridin in the Chevy,Playa Hataz, and stuff because mention 95,Prophet Entertainment. The reason why they could not put songs on there is because there was not enough room on the tape.

Memphis Krunk: a beginning,

This album revolutionized the dirty south style. Produced in the early 90s, it introduced how tight a beat can be. If you appreciate this album, you are truly a dirty south playa. You betta have some real bump in the trunk if you wanna play this album. You'll give the neighborhood chills all night long! By far the best 3-6 album evaaa!!! What i what give to see the original 3-6 perform this album live. Talk about an experience. Keep the beats comin and dont forget where you started 3-6!

This is a great undergound compolation from the original Triple 6 mafia. Songs like the o.g. break the law were not featured on this cd because playa fly wasnt on the label and that song (break da law '93) was on his first solo LP "Kreepin Out Da Kut". Nigz who hate on the mixes on this cd are idiots. Mixes are to show off dj'n skills. Obviously Dj Paul and Juicy J have great skills. The songs are ment to be played loudly and w/ the bass turned up. Yall claimin yall real fans, yall should know this information. Everyone who likes 3-6 should buy this. Just to see where it all started.

The Weirdness Of 3-6 Comes Out,
By
This review is from: Underground 1 (Audio CD)
Three Six Mafia has always tried to get everyone krunk, with the hardcore beats and murderous rhymes. But people I'm warning you, if your not a TRUE Triple Six Mafia fan like me then you will not like this CD at all. To me this CD is different then their other works, because some songs don't even have lyrics on it and it just tend to repeat. Like "Time For Da Juice Man", "Ni**as Ain't Barin Dat", "Paul With Da 45", or "Yeah They Done F**cked Up" are all just made for beats. I honestly think Juicy J and DJ Paul fell asleep on the tables with these tight beats and forgot to ask someone to get on the mic, but it's still krunk. But honestly the best songs on this cd is "Talk Ya Ass Off", "Ridin N Chevy", "Mask & Da Glock", and "Don't Be Scared" (Which is probably the weirdest song I've ever heard in my life). I honestly think the scariest songs on this CD is "Playa Hatas", & "Walk Up To Yo House," if your riding in your car late night, please don't play these songs, you might think someone is coming after you for something you did a long time ago. But honestly hands down this is a good CD for all you 3-6 collectors. Because honestly I own old tapes of 3-6 before these songs came out, so this didn't weird me out at all. But hey if you wanna bang your system then go ahead and purchase this underground LP.

One of three great underground albums.,
By J. Evasive (San Diego, CA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Underground 1 (Audio CD)
Thank goodness that the 3 6 mafia decided to put all their undergound tracks on a disc; otherwise it would have been unheard from their fans who don't live in Memphis, TN. The tracks I digged the most were: Ridin n da chevy [simple yet hypnotic beat], charging these hoes [speaks 4 itself], paul with da 45 [plain fun], where da bud at [energetic ballad], and talk ya ass off [confronts those who put their mouths in overtime]. Add this right here to your shopping cart playa.
