I initially bought this book for my Emergency Medicine Rotation. However, one of my question books suggested that I actually do a rotation in Emergency Medicine before I take Step 2. Because I have already scheduled my board exam before my emergency medicine rotation I figured that it would be helpful to review this book. And it was!

pros: only usmle prep material focusing on emergency medicine. cons: no illustrations. although it is advertised as having 100 cases, there are actually only 50. the vignettes are not questions, but scenarios.

I initially bought this book for my Emergency Medicine Rotation. However, one of my question books suggested that I actually do a rotation in Emergency Medicine before I take Step 2. This book gives you the initial step, next step, and presentation that is needed for the USMLE 2 exam. It is great for my style of studying.
