Whether you buy this because you just love Dr. Who and Daleks, or you want to use this to terrorize the cats in the house, either way you're going to get hours of entertainment out of this RC toy.

Other than finding one of the functions (to move backwards) didn't work this was a huge hit for the 43 year old boy it was purchased for. Great voice and movement control. This avid Dr. Who fan was thrilled with his new toy.

The controls are well designed, sound effects good a great way to torment the cat or at least confuse him.

My husband is a huge Doctor Who fan - he got into it when the new series with Chris Eccleston regenerated into the character, and never stopped. He then proceeded to avidly watch and read anything he could get his hands on about the Whoniverse.

Our daughter, a young Whovian that favors David Tennant, found out about this RC Dalek and wouldn't stop saying that "Dad would love it".

Well, both Dad and Daughter love it, for sure. But the dog sure hates the ET mutant roaming around firing lasers and screaming "Exterminate!".

The toy is not tremendously sturdy. It is a bit on the noisy side. But for true fans, just having a Dalek under their control, is awesome. And having a common interest between father and daughter fulfilled by one disputed toy is no small feat either!

This is a great replica of the Dalek from the Dr. Who series! The voice impersonation is really accurate. My only criticism is that it moves a bit slow compared to current remote control toys that are on today's market. It's really the voice and the way its head spins that makes it so authentic. Great fun!
