I bought this just for the heck of it, but it's one of my favorites! It has six sound bytes: two Cybermen, two Dalek, one K9, and one TARDIS. It's a bit big for a keychain fob, but the sound packs a punch - at least, mine does (it's really loud!). The TARDIS sound effect (materialization/dematerialization) is simply fab and has become my own personal "Calgon, take me away!" bit. Also, I work with lawyers, so whenever one of the bottom-feeders gets on my nerves, the Dalek's "Exterminate! Exterminate!" comes in really handy in relieving the stress factor. Plus, the darn thing just makes me laugh! For the price, it's just a fun, goofy little thing to have and it will bring a smile or two - guaranteed!

What does a thirtysomething geek like myself do when he's a bit too stressed out over work or traffic? He goes to his Doctor! The "Doctor Who In Your Pocket" keychain is the perfect tension tamer in any situation. Oh how I'd love to "exterminate" or "delete" a few of the idiots I've encountered on the highway sometimes. This keychain gives me the opportunity and a little bit of satisfaction as well. It features two sayings from those nasty Daleks, two from the emotionless Cybermen, a positive note from K-9, and the wonderful sound of the TARDIS as it whisks the Doctor and his companions off into time and space. If for no other reason than to have a little fun, I recommend picking up the "Doctor Who In Your Pocket" keychain. I'll probably never put actual keys on it (It's a bit large), but I'll be blasting it at my enemies on the highway until I regenerate.

It is really surprising how loud and what really good quality the sound is on this little guy.

I've had it for awhile now, and it has been kicked around, dropped and even stepped on once and still doesn't even have a scratch on it, let alone any breakage.

And a well placed "Exterminate!" or "Delete!" can be very theraputic in certain circumstances. *grin*

As a poor Doctor Who fan, I was excited to find this inexpensive little gizmo. It has absolutely no educational value whatsoever, nonetheless I can't tell you how deeply satisfying it is to point this at objects, situations, offspring, etc. and push the button to hear a Dalek yell EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE! Soul satisfying, and worth every penny! I recommend one of these to everyone.

If you are looking at this product, you probably know exactly what Dr. Who is and have a pretty good idea about whether you want to buy it. In that case I would just like to say that it works just fine and has a decent level of volume.

The keychain has six sound effects:

Dalek
"You are an ememy of the Daleks, you must be destroyed."
"Exterminate! Exterminate! Exterminate!"

Cybermen
"You must be upgraded, upgrading is compulsory."
"You will be deleted. Delete. Delete. Delete!"

K9
"Affirmative, Master."

Tardis landing/takeoff noise.

My wife remarked that she would love to be able to occassionally screech like a Dalek to people at work and now, thanks to this great novelty gift, she can do exactly that.

My whole family are Doctor Who fans, and the biggest fan is my 14 yo daughter. We got her one of these for her last birthday and she has it clipped to her purse. It's been 10 months and it's still in great shape. She loves it. The sounds are nice and clear and the Dalek Exterminate is probably everyone's favorite sound from it.
I'm very glad we got it for her. It seemed sort of silly at the time, it's still silly. But it's a very fun thing to have that's not very expensive if you are a Doctor Who fan.

I bought one of these about three years ago and it is still going strong. Durable battery and nice, clear audio. Lots of fun to hit the TARDIS engine button when it's in your pocket and the people around you aren't aware you have it.

Firstly, there is no practical application for this toy. This, however does not mean its not amazingly fun! Dalek and TARDIS noises are the best without a doubt. Whovians who want a cheap and easy laugh need these.

I bought this talking key chain for my sister-in-law and she loves it! A great conversation piece, my sister-in-law has found more Dr. Who fans in her family due to playing with this.

For who fans, its really fun. My dogs on the otherhand, are terrified of it. (mwa ha ha)
