Tip of the Iceberg, April 28, 2008
This review is from: Underneath (Album Version) (MP3 Download)
Alanis continues to unravel her musical genius and further reveal her muse in "Underneath." It's another psychosocial journey through her heart and mind that serves as an uncomfortable mirror to us all. And even so, the music is a sweet syrup with which to wash down another one of her jagged little pills.
And by the sounds of it, this first release is just the tip of the iceberg: Flavors of Entanglement. It's been a long wait. "Underneath" suggests that it has been a worthwhile one.

Underneath? More like On Top!, April 21, 2008
This review is from: Underneath (Album Version) (MP3 Download)
Alanis always writes catchy, relevant songs and this one is no exception. She hits on the underpinnings of why we are struggling in American society to reconcile our actions with our desires. I can't wait for the full album!
