Super cute..,

This is a really cute mini aquarium. It looks bigger in the picture but it's perfect for your desk or a small table. I really like it .

This looks great on the desk next to the computers. Shines with a little bit of the blue light that is trendy now. Very hip and cute. A good gift for someone who just wants something cool that they wouldn't buy for themselves.

For what it is its great. Its great how you can plug it into a usb port to power it. It will also run on batteries if you choose. My only complaint about it is if you have batteries in it and its plugged into the usb port on your computer you cannot turn it off. You can only change the switch from usb to batteries. So if you do have it plugged into a usb port you need to leave the batteries out to turn it off. They needed to install a 3 way switch, with the three positions being batteries, off, and usb. With that said though I have gotten many smiles from it at work and I never have to feed the fish or change the water :)

The main problem that takes away from this neat idea is the fact that the fish only travel in one pattern: a vertical circle. This is understandable because you have a simple motor stirring the water. On USB the fish travel quickly in a vertical circle, on battery a slower vertical circle. I just wish the fish would bounce around the little tank instead of this repeating path. Others may not mind, but it was a bit of a letdown for me.

Pretty cool desk gadget - plugs into the USB port and has two small fish that "swim" in random patterns. It's certainly an attention getter in my office and it's fun to watch when I need a break from staring at my screen. Being able to turn off the unit or just the light is a bonus. The only "con" I have is that you should be sure to by the "usb hub" version as it does take up a usb port. It's a gadget and that's exactly the extent of what it does - so enjoy!

i did some extensive research for the perfect fish! i know that sounds silly, and it is, but it was necessary! i just got a new job, and a new cubicle. i've never had my own space before, so i was very excited to be able to decorate it with fun stuff. i really wanted some cute fish, and when i saw these, i knew i had to have them. they are really popular at work, and they make me happy watching them swim around. so, thank you very much for helping me move into my cubicle!
