This is a wonderful book for anyone who loves dolphins, whales and other sea life. It has lots of beautiful artwork with thoughtful quotes beneath. There is also some interesting information on Wyland. First, there is a section on whales, followed by one on dolphins, manatees and other sea life. Next, there are several collaboration pieces. Wyland worked with artists such as Jim Warren & James Coleman to create many stunning pieces. I especially liked one with babies & dolphins he worked on with Janet Stewart. I also loved the section on the whaling wall murals. The walls are shown both in-progress & finished. I found the information on each wall and about how the walls came to be fascinating. A detailed list on of all the walls & their specifications as well as a list of all the Wyland galleries are a nice bonuses.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book (and continue to do so). It not only incorporated some of Wyland's finest works but the work of other artists that collaberated with Wyland on some of his murals (i.e. the landscape/sky portions). There is a fine display of diversity, beautiful color combinations, and wonderful surreal artistry. I have enjoyed Wyland's works for many years and I highly recommend this book! The quality of the color reprints of his work is excellent. I am a muralist and this book truely inspires me!

This is absolutely a "MUST HAVE" book! The dust jacket alone is beautiful, but just wait until you see the artwork inside! "Breathtaking!" Wyland fans, you're really missing out if this book's not in your collection.

I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting Robert last year at his "50 Schools in 50 days" tour. I have always enjoyed his work from a distance and having the chance to not only hold his works but to shake his hand was the best moment of my life. This book wasn't even out to the public yet and I bought it on the spot because goal of the book is not only to enlighten us all but to go towards a wonderful cause. (Though I paid more I also got an autography and a picture :) ) I have this book and his Greatest on my coffee table and everyone that I've turned on to his work goes out and buys it. I even have the bathroom set. Best wishes to him and his family.

Wyland is Amazing. Just incredible. That's all I can say as I flip through this beautiful coffee table book. It has some nice info on Wyland about his love for ocean life-whales and dolphins especially, and what inspired him to help protect the creatures he loves the most in life by painting them(on the walls of buildings) to introduce his message to the public eye. That message is to clean and preserve our oceans so all life on earth-including mankind can survive in the future. There is a whole section devoted to his "whaling walls" up to whaling wall#77. His goal was to paint 100 walls by the year 2011. But he has finished ahead of schedule as completing his 100th wall in 2008 at the Beiijing Olympics in China(Not included in this book, since it's out of date). This book contains many of his beautiful paintings(no sculptures at all)that leave you in awe. There also are many interresting, meaningful, and unique quotes said by different well-know people throughout the book. There is a chart included with descriptions of different ocean animals and their sizes, some pages on details of his individual paintings, and also a Wyland Gallery directory throughout the U.S. Overall, a very nice book. It's a masterpiece of its own!

The more crowded life gets the more I love to look at these beautiful pictures. Genuine grace at its best. It is one of my most favorite coffee table books. If you love the sea you must have this book.

This book is fantastic! It is so magical to look at these creatures that have been drawn because they look so real! You will never be able to put the book down because you will always catch yourself refering back to the book to recapture an image. And you will always be showing you friends. It is a real conversation piece that you will want to display at your next gathering!

If you are a true Wyland fan, you will enjoy this book. It shows a lot of his art other than the wonderful whaling walls that his other book shows. This is a true addition to any Wyland collection!

Marvelous book, however, remove the outer protective cover and be sure the title on the hard cover is not on the back and upsidedown as mine was when I removed the cover 11 months after purchasing the book.
