AWSOME, HIGHLY INSPIRING, REAL PUNK ROCK FOR REAL PUNX,

UNDERSTAND has always been a big fave in my book. This is the real deal here. Fat chunky guitar chords interlaced with powerful yet melodic vocals. Pure punk here folks. It's not pop, but it has has some good pop hooks going on. Personal fave is "Never Follow". The ultimate punk anthem recently covered by "riotgun.", So. Cal's answer to Naked Raygun. True fans of the movement will love this release.

Brings back some old memories!,

Raygun always put on an amazing live show, lots of energy and spirit. Listening to the CD makes me weepy for those days again. Raygun is certainly at the head of the punk band class. Great stuff that stands the test of time. If you want music that rocks and just makes you feel good, this is the band(and one of the albums)for the job!

My friends first gave me the Naked Raygun - Understand? cassette tape when I was in high school. Riding on the heels of the greatest era of punk rock, I listened to this album with my mouth open...wondering what happened and why it took me so long to discover Naked Raygun. Kids these days that think they know what punk is when they listen to their watered down poppy punk - running their fingers through their pretty green hair, well, they just don't understand!

This album is their best one ever. It is really good and enjoyable but compared to other releases it has a sound all its own, which is good. The time changes and melodies will make your ears take a different listen. My favorites are Jettison and their last album, Raygun...Naked Raygun. but this one is bad ass as well especially for treason, wonder beer, and Never Follow

About 5 years ago I heard Naked Raygun. I bought 2 cds from them and let my friends listen to them. Somehow both are missing. If my friends have the guts to steal 2 of my favorite cds, they must be good. You won't find a band with more hooks, power, and influence than these guys. Enjoy.

NR IS AWESOME!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Understand (Audio CD)
I just got the cd Understand in the mail today. Ten years ago it was a tape, now somewhere lost under the seat of a friends car or lost at some college party. The CD is great. It brings back memories of moshin in a drunkin stuper at the metro in Chicago. Young, dumb, and without a care in the world. If your a NR fan this is one for the collection. PK STL MO

The Best Punk Band Ever,

Real punk rock, not that pop punk garbage like Blink 182 and Green Day. If you don't own any Naked Raygun, you are not a punk.

The Good Ol' Days,

I haven't got the CD, but I've still got my old cassette, and couldn't resist pitching in my own warm memories, except for me, it was the Riv, & not so much the Metro.
