As a college student, I appreciated the quality of the material contained in this book and the clarity of it. No sitting with a dictionary to try and read a textbook. The layout of the book was wonderful as well as the descriptive manner it was written in, the pictures that accentuated the points delivered by the text. All around, an awesome text!

As an undergrad currently grappling with an Abnormal Psychology class, I find this book both instructional and interesting. Its many colorful graphs and charts help illustrate points and most importantly, the writing style used is engaging and comprehensive -- fantastic for helping keep the reader awake!

I highly recommend this textbook as a keepsake in your Pysch. library. As an undergrad, we used this text in Personality and Psychopathology. As a grad student of Social Work, I have still referred back to this text book. Very comprehensive and formatted perfectly.

Understanding Abnormal Behavior was a required book for my Psychology class. It's a textbook but it's not boring by any means. The book itself is very well written and the authors give you a very good insight as to what is happening to an individual who has a mental disease. They also have hundreds of images and real life stories throughout the book as well.

Well written textbook. Easy to read and follow. Divided into relevant sections in an organized manner. Nice book!

This is a good textbook. It reads easily and uses contemporary examples to illustrate points. Considers ideas from multiple perspectives and describes terms well. I really have no complaints about this particular textbook.

Book arrived promptly from the seller. This is an excellent abnormal psych text. Clear, concise and easy to read!

I recieved my book a week or so after ordering it!! The book matched the description, that was it was in great condition! The packaging on the other hand was awful! It was a white packaging envelope but the inside of the package was tons of flakly of gray instalation stuff. I opened it in my house and had to get the sweaper out and vacum the floors because it got everywhere. Other than the crappy packaging envelope it was exactly what I was hoping I was getting!!! Thanks :)

This was a required text for a class so I don't have anythig to compare it to but it is pretty up to date opening with the Virginia Tech shooting spree. I purchased it new thinking a CD would come with it as many do, but it doesn't so buy a used one is you want to save a little money.

Shipping was quick and easy....book was in great condition when I received it. I would look for other textbooks I need on this site. Thank you.
