The topic of collaboration between academic and student affairs is now more important than ever if colleges and universities are to create seamless learning environments and educate students for the new collaborative work context. Institutions face the challenge of showing students by their own behavior that they are committed to collaboration, while still acknowledging that partnerships can be messy, that they can take more time, and that they can be frustrating.
