Informative But a Little Bit Too Technical, June 13, 2008
This review is from: Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorders: Frequently Asked Questions (Paperback)
I was too overwhelmed by a lot of technical jargons to catch the depth of what it was all about. Maybe this book is suitable for specialists rather than people with developmental disabilities. The author explained Autistic Spectrum Disorders in various aspects of our daily lives such as nutrition, physical therapies, and some diseases caused by symptoms of the disabilities, and etc. I agree she tried to specify each of ASD according to the readers' questions and her writing style is pretty comprehensible to me. However, if possible, I would have liked her to give us readers several solutions to cope with each disorder. I might be into it if I was a specialist or knew a lot more about ASD, Asperger Syndrome, ADHD and other developmental disabilities.
