This review is from: Understanding Aviation Safety Data: Using the Internet and Other Sources to Analyze Air Travel Risk (Paperback)
Working in the area of aviation accident investigation and prevention, I had some high expectations for this book and, receiving it, i was disappointed. It is written in a over redundant style, with endless recaps, introductions upon introductions and very little actual useful content. It does answer to its title listing all available information, but goes little further as to how to actually use this information. The "methods" proposed are over-simplistic, and may be useful only for hobby investigations or may be for journalistic ones. I acknowledge that I may not be the primary target, but I still hoped to learn something from it.
