Books on Co-Occurring Disorders,

As a parent of a bipolar/addicted adult child, I've read a bunch of books on the subject, including this one. It's okay(3 stars) but a better choice (5 stars) is: Taking Charge of Bipolar Disorder by Julie Fast. It really speaks to the one with the illness as well as to the family. It's the only one my son opted to read. He found it really accurate, hopeful and helpful. It may be the only one you need. Best of luck.
