This review is from: Understanding First Class Dental Care: A Human Interest Story (Paperback)
Since I am the author of this book there may be some bias. This book is like no other dental/medical book ever written. It starts off by introducing the author with a pictorial bio. This is important in that it shows the reader where the author is coming from. After a brief overview of what it takes to become a dentist, the author shows what most dental procedures look like. The heavy emphasis on biology in the dental education is explored and the relationship to medicine and aspects of physiology is explained. The author questions the way modern medicine deals with the aging process and he advocates that aging be considered a degenerative disease that ultimately demands a cure.
The future is analyzed and hopefully we will live to see a btter world.
