This book is invaluable reference for any law enforcement officer or psychologist. Part V Behavioral Aspects of Crisis Situations has very useful information in understanding the behavior aspects behind such things as hostage situations, crowd and riot control, and crisis intervention with victims. Not many books cover these topics as extensive, let alone provide you with useful information that you can take and apply in your daily job. This solid and useful book portrays the essentials components of understanding human behavior and the stresses that police officers face in real situations.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Resource, September 21, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is an excellent resource for psychological issues pertaining to Law Enforcement. This book has a tremendous amount of useful info, but where I found it particularly useful was in the section dealing with mob/crowd control dynamics.
