Reviews often take too much of my daily brain energy, however, I felt overly compelled to write about this book. I am 4 years into my MTBI from 2 consecutive car accidents and an assault, and pinpointing symptoms of MTBI can be complex and difficult...this book is so reassuring in helping to define symptoms an MTBI patient may experience and offer realizations that we as MTBI survivors are not alone. I was reluctant to get this book, or any book for that matter, because it's hard for me to read since my MTBI. This book accommodates this issue as well as can be done with larger print, short chapters and easily comprehended sentences. I can actually get through some chapters without quitting from fatigue, confusion or headache like with other books! As a former bookworm, this is so awesome. I haven't finished the book, but so far so good...I was just compelled to address the writing approach as clearly directed towards MTBI survivors. So if you're not sure whether to get the book because of cognitive processing issues, please do get the book - it's written in a manner for us MTBI SURVIVORS.

Good but I bought coping with MTBI and it was much more comprehensive and easy to read. This was easy to read but is basically for a person whom doesn't work in the field of Neuro-Psychology and gives very basic limited information. Pass, buy "Coping with Mild Traumatic Brain Injury" and save your self time and money.

I found the book a great read, and very informative.
I wish I found it earlier in my own MTBI, nevertheless
enjoyed it & helped connect the dots for me.
I would recommend it for someone working with MTBI,
individuals and families personally affected to have a good understanding
of MTBI
