About the Author

Steven J. Ott is a professor of political science and the Director of Public Administration Education at the University of Utah. He is the immediate past-president of the Nonprofit Management Education Section of the National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration. He has also authored and edited numerous books and articles regarding nonprofit organizations, administrative theory, organization theory, organizational behavior, and organizational culture.

I can't say I completely enjoyed my college course that used this textbook but I can say that the price was fantastic on Amazon. As we all know, college textbooks are ridiculously expensive and overpriced. Amazon had all of my books at half to less than half of the bookstore price. I bought the books at my university's bookstore and after seeing my classmates got theirs on Amazon, I immediately went back to the bookstore for a full refund. Amazon is a great place to get textbooks!
