I read this book while doing research for a book I am writing. It provides an excellent over of of research written in a way that will help a novice understand. I would recommend this book for anybody looking to get a handle on how to use, apply, and evaluate research -- college undergraduates as well as masters level students working on a thesis.

This is a good book for obtaining a basis understanding of research papers. It starts with the basis concepts of a research article. What is research, what is the question, who answered the question, etc. Then proceeds into the core of introduction, method, results and discussion.

This is a great book for anyone new to research or wanting a review. It is easy to read, takes you step by step through the process and the authors actually tell you when its time to put the book down and take a break so you don't get on 'overload' - that bit of humor is sprinkled throughout the book. Good examples shared. I highly recommend it!
