I was working in Los Angeles but was very new to the area so did not understand the anger and the reasons (beyond the Rodney King attack.) This book clarified it all for me plus the pictures allowed me to see the overall situation and not just those areas that the television was focusing on. A very good education and something that I think would be helpful in a classroom.
