5.0 out of 5 stars Concise building block approach, October 26, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Understanding Telecommunications and Lightwave Systems: An Entry-Level Guide (IEEE Telecommunications Handbook Series) (Paperback)
A very clear introduction to the basics of telecommunications, especially fibre optics. Suitable for the literate layperson or businessman. Avoids the problems with other books in this genre: too superficial over too many topics. Gives you a great base of knowledge in the core elements of telecoms at the exact right level of detail.
