I have been using this book to teach grammar classes for ESL students and my intermediate/advanced students' grammar skills have improved a lot. This book has a lot of excercises, which makes this book practical as a course material, as it provides students with plenty of homework where they learn to apply the concepts they learned in the book. I highly recommend this book for whoever teaches English grammar to foreign students.

I just want to tell you guys that this grammar is the best one on the market, at least for me. I have tried several different products named "English grammar" but this one is simply the best in terms of explainations of all topics, exersices, and the "hands on training" that it provides(learning the English grammar by default).

Betty Azar provides great tools for helping ESL students learn English grammar. There are 3 leveled books to teach English grammar, elementary, middle and high. There is also workbooks that go with these books. These are a must for an ESL classroom.

This series of books is for you if you are serious about learning English. I used a lot of books and finally found this one. This is trully the best book out of many I have ever studied.

Excellent book. It was recommended to me by my english teacher during an avanced course of English as a second language. It is always an excellent reference book.

It's easy and useful, so that I could improve my grammar in classrooms and at home by myself. As a ESL student, I don't like a grammar book that's full of terminologies because a book like that only drives me crazy. It a very popular book for ESL students.

For those, like me, who want to learn english as a second language, could not have a better english grammar than this. I recommend!!

The workbook just make the learn stronger. IS worthy to buy both together like I did.
