Have you ever asked, "WHY KOSOVO?" If you have... or even thought of asking...Some of the best authors are at their finest in this volume - no one pretends to fully comprehend the fire and fury that raged in and around Kosovo, but you will learn of some possible explanations from this fine volume. Perhaps you will come away with more questions than you began with, but shouldn't that be part of the process leading to better insights? Stefan Wolff's chapter is especially outstanding, but there isn't a single one that is not well worth reading, since so many approaches are taken to this complex conflict. Florian Bieber and Zhidas Daskalovski are deeply knowledgeable analysts and practitioners - highly respected intellectuals. Every chapter enriches attempts to more fully comprehend the Kosovo Conflict. |
