Clear enjoyable intro to Weather (not dumbed down),
By K. Friesenhahn "I'm nobody who are you?" (San Antonio, tx United States) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Understanding Weather and Climate, Third Edition (Hardcover)
I bought the 3rd Edition because it was so inexpensive. Having read the usual popular books on weather, I was interested in a little more science behind the facts. I can not describe the "Eureka" moments that came in every chapter. For 2 -3 bucks plus postage it really delivers. I see 10 times more in the sky than I ever did before. (Surface maps will never be enough again.)
