I haven't done the full field test yet, but somethings in the product literature are interesting. On the outside back, the advertising come-on for purchase in a brick and mortar store says "DiCAPac can be used up to 10m below water. You can even take pictures under the sea of swimming fishes, coral reefs and marine scenery which has not been possible before." Open up the clamshell and the instructions warn, "This waterproof case is for protecting the camera from dust, water, snow, rain, sand, etc. It is also made for comparatively simple underwater shots at a beach or a pool. Please use only dedicated housing or professional underwater shooting equipment for more professional underwater shots." The promotional and technical departments should get together for lunch some time.

Another part of the manual seems poorly translated and hard to follow: "This product desires that stick out of lens uses electively to only long some digital camera than Dicapack hard packing length." Luckily they have illustrations, so I followed them instead.
