1.0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money!, December 2, 2009
This review is from: Underwater Case for the Following Olympus Evolt Digital SLR Cameras: E3, E420, E520, E510, E410, E500 (Misc.)
I bought this camera case to do some photos when sailing. My Canon XTi fit very well in the case and controls were easily adjustable. Then I went to do a try and after one single use the lens protector was totally scratched and now it is impossible to use this device. The idea seems to be very good, but the reality is that this product is made from very poor quality materials. Given the fact that I live in an oversea country I did not reclaimed but my recommendation is DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY buying this product.

3.0 out of 5 stars SLR underwater pack, April 15, 2010
This review is from: Underwater Case for the Following Olympus Evolt Digital SLR Cameras: E3, E420, E520, E510, E410, E500 (Misc.)
I totally disagree with some of the comments said about this product. I bought this casing early 2009, and only started using it this year 2010.

Don't forget, that what you pay for is what you get! The product itself is exciting to use, because you want to gain more out of what it's offering. The lens will not scratch unless you are negligent with it....the only problems are that it is pretty buoyant underwater, so that means you have got to have a firm grip throughout your journey....which makes your shoulder arms ache after a while. It's not easy taking a shot using either the view-hole or the screen...so, you just go about taking approximate shots. If you're using a long lens, it's a mission trying to get the lens casing back to it's original position for you to use the small lens.

Apart from that, it's a fun gadget, as i can not afford the 'proper' underwater housing. I'm going to be using it this Saturday again!!!!
