Underworld critique,
By T. Kepler (California, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Underwords: Perspectives on Don Delillo's Underworld (Hardcover)
Collection of mostly academic essays exploring DeLillo's 1997 work, Underworld.
Other works referred to: Gravity's Rainbow, by T. Pynchon; American Pastoral, by P. Roth; The Tunnel, by W. Gass. Literature departments must been been impressed with this novel given this compilation only 5 years after it was published. I agree the novel deserves a critical review, especially an overall positive one. |
